Name: Tommy
Tagline: Mini Inventor
Brief Introduction: Tommy is a nerdy 10-year-old boy. He loves to invent new things like his dad.

2.
All characters are created for a purpose. This purpose is to tell a story. Briefly describe the story that your character takes part in. You don’t need to go into great detail.

Tommy's dad is a famous inventor. His inventions were known by many. One day, there was a new inventor in the city, named Cylon. Cylon stole Tommy’s dad inventions and used it against him. People no longer want to look at his inventions. As Tommy grew older, he followed his father's footsteps and wanted to regain his father's reputation. Tommy was hated by the children in his class as he was nerdy and very quiet boy.

Ever since Tommy was only 8 years old, he started working on his invention that was an advanced robotic maid that is able to do almost every job in the house. 2 years later, he showcased his invention and everyone in the city loves it. Cylon inventions were slowly going down the drain.

3.
What is the driving force of your character – what motivates them? This gives a key to their character.

Tommy is a smart boy. All he wanted was to bring Cylon down for what he did. He wants regain his father’s reputation and wants the society to appreciate his father’s inventions. He is a very smart boy who prefers to observe rather than talking. He has the brains of a matured man and is able to think out of the box.

4. What traits are unique to your character – in other words, what makes them different, and stand out from, all other characters that have ever been created? Give at least 3 appearance-based traits, and 3 behavioral traits.

Appearance:

1. He wears nerdy big spectacles and that makes him the nerdy-boy in the class and no one in the class really like nerdy-boys like him.

2. Big blue eyes which make him look innocent and didn’t aspect him do such inventions.

3. He carries a bag-pack to everywhere which he place all his important things like his invention notebook and some tools.

Behavioral:

1. He a very smart boy and quiet boy. He prefers to observe his surrounding carefully rather than talking. He is a loner in the class because he talks to no one.

2. He never smiles to anyone before. He has the habit of going to school and back home. He doesn’t really go anywhere else except for school. And the children in school were all very mean towards him and that is the reason why he doesn’t really smile.

3. He will write down everything he observed on his notebook. Anything that is able to help him with his inventions. His notebook is the only thing that he has with him as he has no friends. He will sit down in front of the TV and write down what are the inventions Cylon made that were being showed on the TV.

5. Write a short dialogue sequence between your character and another person. The dialogue should illuminate some part of your character’s personality.

Tommy’s dad: I’m sorry son; I am not able to do my job as an inventor, as your dad.

Tommy: Why daddy? What’s wrong? *wipe his dad’s tears away*

Tommy’s dad: *hugged Tommy* I lost my job, to the new inventor, Cylon; he stole my ideas and used it against me. No one wants to look at daddy’s work, son.

Tommy: Please don’t cry daddy. * And in Tommy’s mind… “Cylon… You made the wrong move…” *
